Based on these users' feedback I came up with the main features below: I analyzed the app in depth and searched the internet for Calibre users' opinions. It is not a reader app though.Ĭalibre desktop app has a multitude of features but for iphone users some of these features such as e-book format conversion and advanced editing options are redundant. It connects to Calibre over wi-fi and allows users to sync books to their Android device. The most popular of these apps is the Calibre Companion, an Android based Calibre library organizer. While Calibre doesn't have an official mobile app, several third party developers built apps that help Calibre users manage their e-book libraries and sync their books on their mobile devices. It allows users to create, edit read e-books. Calibre is an open source e-book software that allows users to manage their e-book collection.

For this project I chose to design an iOS app for Calibre, a desktop app I use frequently.
